The Trucking Association of New York is seeking an Events Manager to plan and execute the association’s many events. Experience working independently to plan large and small events is essential. Experience working with trade associations is desired.
Job requirements include but are not limited to determining and adhering to a budget for each event, sourcing venues and caterers, determining and arranging A/V needs, securing hotels, negotiating contracts, making travel arrangements for staff and speakers, briefing participants, obtaining event sponsorships, trouble-shooting during the event and providing post-event analysis. Candidates for this position must have experience executing each of the job requirements listed.
Some statewide travel is required. Salary is commensurate with experience.
